How much does the Goodway TS-150 cost?
Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Goodway TS-150 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The Goodway TS-150 is a gang-tool lathe: a 6,000 rpm spindle, a 6 in chuck or 42 collet chuck, and a row of tools on the cross slide in place of a turret. Goodway gives the footprint as 2.6 m2 and positions it for mass production of small-diameter parts.
Gang tooling explains the travel figures. X travel is 305 mm (12.0 in), long for a machine that turns only Ø200 mm (7.9 in), because the slide has to carry each tool in the row past the spindle centerline. Z travel is 320 mm (12.6 in) and turning length 290 mm (11.4 in). Tool shanks are 20 mm (0.8 in) square or Ø25 mm (1.0 in) round. With no turret to index, tool changes are a short slide move, which is where the cycle time advantage on short parts comes from.
Bar capacity is Ø45 mm (1.8 in). The spindle motor is rated 5.5 kW (7.4 hp) continuous and 7.5 kW (10.1 hp) for 15 min. The bed is a 30° slant design with box ways, and Goodway notes a dovetail X-axis and a rear-exit chip conveyor that lets machines stand close together.
If the parts need more tools or milling, two variations are listed. T fits an 8-station servo turret. M fits an 8-station live tooling turret with ER20 collets and C-axis control. The table shows no tailstock, Y-axis or sub-spindle for this model, so it is a chucker and bar machine, not a shaft lathe.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- Gang type tool holder as standard, for quick tool changes on short parts
- 6,000 rpm spindle taking a 6 in chuck or 42 collet chuck
- 2.6 m2 footprint with a rear-exit chip conveyor
- Box ways on a 30° slant bed
- 8-station servo or live tooling turret available as the T and M variations
Limitations
- No tailstock appears in the table, so long slender parts are not its work
- Turning diameter is Ø200 mm (7.9 in) and turning length 290 mm (11.4 in)
- The spindle motor is 5.5 kW (7.4 hp) continuous
- The optional turrets have only 8 stations

Frequently Asked Questions
01
A gang type tool holder is standard, taking 20 mm (0.8 in) square or Ø25 mm (1.0 in) round shanks. Two variations replace or supplement it: T with an 8-station servo turret, and M with an 8-station live tooling turret (ER20) and C-axis.
02
Maximum turning diameter is Ø200 mm (7.9 in), turning length 290 mm (11.4 in), swing Ø330 mm (13.0 in) and bar capacity Ø45 mm (1.8 in). The spindle takes a 6 in chuck or a 42 collet chuck.
03
5.5 kW (7.4 hp) continuous and 7.5 kW (10.1 hp) on the 15 min. rating, with a maximum speed of 6,000 rpm. That suits small-diameter work in free-cutting materials more than heavy roughing.
04
Because the tools sit side by side on the slide. X-axis travel is 305 mm (12.0 in), although the largest turned diameter is Ø200 mm (7.9 in). The extra stroke is what brings each tool of the gang in front of the workpiece.
