Strengths & Limitations

Strengths

  • 2,000 x 900 x 800 mm travels with 3,000 kg table capacity provides generous working volume
  • GF build quality and thermal stability at the VCE Pro price point
  • Multiple spindle speed options optimize for the dominant material
  • HSK-A63 or BT40 taper maintains compatibility with standard tooling
  • Tool magazine expandable to 60 pockets supports complex programs
  • Heidenhain TNC 640 provides advanced contour processing and look-ahead

Limitations

  • Lacks ITC thermal compensation and Step-Tec spindle of MILL P series
  • Competes with established Japanese and Korean VMCs at similar prices
  • 3-axis configuration requires refixturing for multi-face work
  • Limited high-speed finishing vs dedicated HSM machines with 30K+ RPM
