Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Penta Laser BOLT CUBE 3015 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The Penta Laser BOLT CUBE 3015 is the smallest of three 3D 5-axis fiber laser cutting machines that Penta Laser builds for automotive hot-formed parts. Its head travels 3,000 mm (118.1 in) in X, 1,500 mm (59.1 in) in Y and 680 mm (26.8 in) in Z, and the maker states the job plainly: cutting holes and trimming edges on hot-formed components.
The five-axis reach comes from the cutting head. B swings ±135° and C is listed as n × 360°, so the head can keep turning around a part without an unwinding move between features. The table also carries a V axis with ±12 mm (±0.5 in) of travel. The page does not say what that axis does, so ask before assuming.
Linear axes position at up to 173 m/min with 1.2 G of acceleration, and the B and C axes turn at 720°/s with 5,400°/s² of acceleration. On a trimmed pressing the head spends much of its time reorienting between short cuts, which is why the rotary figures deserve as much attention as the linear speed.
Penta Laser lists 3–4 kW fiber lasers for the series and a Smart Manager CNC with RTCP, focus control, auto nozzle cleaning and uncut hole detection. A double monitor, the Penta 3D Editor on board, a fixture interface and a magnetic scrap conveyor are optional configurations. CE compliance is in the same optional list, so it has to be specified. The BOLT CUBE 4020 and BOLT CUBE 4525 keep the Z travel, head and dynamics and add X and Y.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- B axis range of ±135° with a C axis listed as n × 360°, so the head does not need to unwind between features
- Linear axes position at up to 173 m/min with 1.2 G acceleration
- B and C axes turn at 720°/s and accelerate at 5,400°/s², which shortens the reorientation moves that dominate trimming work
- Smart Manager CNC with RTCP, focus control, auto nozzle cleaning and uncut hole detection
- Dual-drive gantry with direct-drive cutting heads, precision linear guides and rack-and-pinion drive
Limitations
- X and Y travel of 3,000 mm (118.1 in) and 1,500 mm (59.1 in) is the shortest in the series; larger pressings need the BOLT CUBE 4020 or BOLT CUBE 4525
- Z travel is 680 mm (26.8 in) on every size, so part height plus fixture height is capped regardless of the model chosen
- CE compliance, the fixture interface and the magnetic scrap conveyor are optional configurations, not part of the base machine
- The series is listed with 3–4 kW fiber lasers, a range chosen for thin hot-formed sheet and not for thick plate

Frequently Asked Questions
01
X travel is 3,000 mm (118.1 in), Y travel is 1,500 mm (59.1 in) and Z travel is 680 mm (26.8 in). The head adds a B axis of ±135°, a C axis listed as n × 360° and a V axis of ±12 mm (±0.5 in).
02
The X, Y and Z axes position at up to 173 m/min with a maximum acceleration of 1.2 G. The B and C axes reach 720°/s and accelerate at 5,400°/s². Those figures are the same on all three sizes of the series.
03
Penta Laser's feature list for the series names 3–4 kW fiber lasers with high electro-optical conversion. The specification table itself has no laser power row, so confirm the exact source and power when you ask for a quotation.
04
The optional configurations listed are a double monitor, the Penta 3D Editor on board, CE compliance, a fixture interface and a magnetic scrap conveyor. Anything on that list should be written into the order if you need it.
