Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Durma AD-S 60400 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The Durma AD-S 60400 is the largest machine in the AD-S hydraulic press brake table, with 400 ton over a 6,050 mm (238.2 in) bending length. Heaviest, tallest and slowest of the series, it exists for one kind of work: long parts in plate.
Its size is the first thing to plan for. Durma lists 34,600 kg (76,279 lb), a height of 3,810 mm (150.0 in), a length of 7,500 mm (295.3 in) and a width of 2,110 mm (83.1 in). The table is 1,220 mm (48.0 in) above the floor, the highest in the series. Machines of this class are commonly set into a pit so the working height comes down, and that should be raised with Durma before the foundation is drawn.
Between the columns there is 5,100 mm (200.8 in), and the throat is 510 mm (20.1 in) deep. With 630 mm (24.8 in) of daylight and a 365 mm (14.4 in) stroke, tall plate tooling fits. Speeds reflect the oil being moved. Rapid is 120 mm/sec and return 100 mm/sec, both the lowest in the AD-S table, and the working speed is 8 mm/sec. The 37 kW (49.6 hp) motor draws from a 500 L tank.
The back gauge carries 750 mm (29.5 in) of X travel as standard and runs at 350 mm/sec, with R at 300 mm/sec. A wide table of 300 mm (11.8 in) is available beside the 154 mm (6.1 in) narrow one.
Durma's standard equipment list is the same as for the smallest model, DT 15 control and manual crowning included. Most machines of this size will be specified well beyond that.

Frequently Asked Questions
01
It is 7,500 mm (295.3 in) long, 2,110 mm (83.1 in) wide and 3,810 mm (150.0 in) high, and weighs approximately 34,600 kg (76,279 lb). The table height is 1,220 mm (48.0 in).
02
A bending force of 400 ton on a bending length of 6,050 mm (238.2 in). The columns are 5,100 mm (200.8 in) apart, so most plates pass between them, and the throat is 510 mm (20.1 in) deep for longer ones.
03
Yes, slightly. The AD-S 40400 is listed at 140 mm/sec in rapid and 120 mm/sec in return. The AD-S 60400 has 120 mm/sec and 100 mm/sec. Working speed is 8 mm/sec on both.

That depends on the parts, but Durma's options list covers the usual needs of a machine this long: CNC control motorized crowning, motorized back gauges with R and Z axes, the SKY 22, DA-66S or DA-69S control, hydraulic tool clamping, an oil cooler and laser angle measurement.
