Dener XL 1560 — price

Price estimate: uncertain

We have no price for the Dener XL 1560 that we can cite and no estimate we can stand behind, so this page shows no number rather than a guess. A quote from Dener or an authorised dealer is the reliable figure.

What moves the final price

  • Spindle, control and probing options
  • Tool changer capacity and tooling package
  • Automation — pallet changers, bar feeders, robot cells
  • Freight, rigging, installation and training
  • Region, dealer and time of year

Overview

The Dener XL 1560 is the shortest hydraulic press brake in the Smart XL table: 60 ton of bending capacity over a 1,550 mm (61 in) bending length. It is a machine for small parts, and the rest of the table follows from that. The frames stand 1,250 mm apart, the main motor is 7.5 kW (10.1 hp), the oil tank holds 100 lt and the whole machine weighs 4,300 kg (9,480 lb).

Speed is where the small frame pays back. The ram approaches at 180 mm/sec and returns at 160 mm/sec, the fastest pair in the XL series and shared only with the XL 2060. Bending speed is 10 mm/sec.

The opening is the limit to plan around. Stroke is 220 mm and daylight 410 mm, with a throat depth of 400 mm. Dener's equipment list for the series mentions a throat depth of 450 mm and a cylinder stroke of 350 mm, but those figures belong to the larger frames; for this size the table values apply. Tall punches and deep boxes need checking against 410 mm before the tooling is ordered.

Standard equipment is an X, R backgauge, a 15-inch ESA 640 2D control, manual crowning of the lower table and European-style sectional tooling. Delem controls, backgauges with Z1 and Z2 fingers and motorized crowning are options.

Strengths & Limitations

Strengths

  • Fastest ram in the XL table: 180 mm/sec approach and 160 mm/sec return
  • Light and compact at 4,300 kg (9,480 lb) and 2,445 mm overall length
  • Small services: a 7.5 kW (10.1 hp) main motor and a 100 lt oil tank
  • X, R backgauge and an ESA 640 2D control are standard equipment

Limitations

  • Daylight of 410 mm and a 220 mm stroke are the smallest opening in the series
  • Only 1,250 mm between the side frames; wider parts must stay inside the 400 mm throat
  • Crowning is manual as standard, and Z1/Z2 backgauge axes are optional

Best For

Brackets, clips and small covers up to 1,550 mm long A second brake for short parts beside a long machine Shops with limited floor space and a light floor

Frequently Asked Questions

01 What can the Dener XL 1560 bend?

It applies 60 ton over a bending length of 1,550 mm (61 in). The distance between the side frames is 1,250 mm, so a part wider than that has to fit within the 400 mm throat depth.

02 How fast is the XL 1560?

Approach speed is 180 mm/sec, bending speed 10 mm/sec and return speed 160 mm/sec. With only 220 mm of stroke to cover, the ram spends little of each cycle travelling.

03 Which control comes with the XL 1560?

Dener lists a 15-inch ESA 640 2D control unit as standard for the series. An ESA 875 W 3D control and Delem 66T or 69T controls are listed as optional equipment.

04 How much space does the XL 1560 need?

The table gives a length of 2,445 mm, a width of 2,200 mm with the front supports (1,635 mm without them) and a maximum height of 2,390 mm. The machine weighs 4,300 kg (9,480 lb).
