Overview
The Citizen Miyano ABX-65SYY is a 2-spindle, 2-turret CNC automatic lathe with Y-axis capability for complete-part production turning of bar stock up to 65mm diameter. Twin 12-station turrets each support up to 12 driven tools with Y-axis milling on both sides.
Both spindles are rated at 18.5/15 kW reaching 5,000 RPM. The Y-axis stroke of 80mm enables milling of flats, slots, keyways, and off-center features. This architecture is critical for automotive powertrain components, hydraulic valve bodies, and fluid power fittings.
At 10,700 kg, the machine provides a substantial, vibration-resistant platform for simultaneous dual-turret cutting. The 6-inch power chuck on both spindles ensures secure clamping. X-axis travel of 190mm and Z-axis travels of 550mm/721mm provide generous working envelopes.
