Price estimate
We do not have a price for the CHMER CM323C that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The CHMER CM323C is the entry model of CHMER's CNC die sinker EDM series: 300 x 200 mm (11.8 x 7.9 in) of table travel, 300 mm (11.8 in) of ram travel and a machine weight of 1,000 kg (2,200 lb). It is a C-frame machine in cast iron with ball screws and linear guideways on X, Y and Z.
For a sinker this small, the fixed points of the specification are generous. The table is 500 x 350 mm (19.7 x 13.8 in), the workpiece can weigh 500 kg (1,100 lb) and the electrode 60 kg (132 lb). Closed-loop linear scales on all three axes are part of the series, listed by CHMER as standard.
The generator choice is narrow. Only the 50N and 75N are offered on this frame, giving 50 A or 75 A and a maximum machining speed of 350 mm3/min or 550 mm3/min. That fits the work the travel allows: small cavities, inserts, ejector-pin and gate details, where finish and wear count for more than removal rate. Best surface roughness is listed at 0.25 μm Ra with 0.2% electrode wear.
The control is an industrial PC with a dialogue system and anti-arc circuitry. A tool changer and a C axis are options. The machine occupies 1,200 x 1,350 mm (47.2 x 53.1 in) with a separate generator cabinet, and its D323 dielectric tank holds 280 L (74 gal).

Frequently Asked Questions
01
Table travel is 300 x 200 mm (11.8 x 7.9 in) and ram travel 300 mm (11.8 in). The table measures 500 x 350 mm (19.7 x 13.8 in) and the work tank 820 x 500 x 300 mm (32.3 x 19.7 x 11.8 in).
02
The 50N and the 75N. Maximum machining current is 50 A or 75 A, maximum power input 5 kVA or 6 kVA, and maximum machining speed 350 mm3/min or 550 mm3/min. The two larger generators of the series are not offered on this model.
03
Yes. CHMER lists closed-loop linear scale feedback on X, Y and Z for positioning and cutting accuracy, and the control description names a standard 3 axes linear scale.
04
A tool changer and a C axis are named as options in the control description, and the accessory list adds a fire extinguisher, a magnetic base, CE conformity and 3R accessories. Paper filter, clamping kit, drill chuck and electrode holder are standard.
