Overview
The Boschert TWIN / TRI is a hydraulic CNC punching machine built in five table sizes, with working areas from 560 x 1,000 mm up to 1,560 x 3,000 mm. Punching power is 280 kN on every size, and sheets up to 9,999 mm long are processed by repositioning.
Thick material is where this model earns its place. The table lists a maximum sheet thickness of 12.7 mm at the clamp opening, with 6 mm as the limit through the Revotool. Heavy plate adds up quickly on the larger tables, so check the 200 kg maximum workpiece weight against the sheets you plan to load before settling on a size.
The axes position at 60 m/min in X and 30 m/min in Y, or 67 m/min with both moving. Stroke rate depends on the hydraulics ordered: 250 strokes/min with the standard unit and 800 strokes/min with the fast one. The fast unit brings the 11 kW hydraulic motor and the 25 kVA connection in place of 4.8 kW and 20 kVA.
Punches up to 105 mm in diameter, or any shape within 105 mm, are accepted. A Revotool with 4, 6, 7 or 8 stations changes tools in 2-4 sec., against 15 sec. for a manual change. During punching Boschert gives a positioning difference of +/- 0.05 mm and a repeatability of +/- 0.03 mm. Floor space runs from 4,480 x 4,088 mm for the smallest machine to 8,060 x 6,588 mm for the largest, and weight from 7,500 kg to 15,800 kg.
