Yasda YBM 10T — price

Price estimate: uncertain

We have no price for the Yasda YBM 10T that we can cite and no estimate we can stand behind, so this page shows no number rather than a guess. A quote from Yasda Precision or an authorised dealer is the reliable figure.

What moves the final price

  • Spindle, control and probing options
  • Tool changer capacity and tooling package
  • Automation — pallet changers, bar feeders, robot cells
  • Freight, rigging, installation and training
  • Region, dealer and time of year

Overview

The Yasda YBM 10T carries a 1,000 mm square table and moves 1,500 mm (59.1 in) in X, 1,200 mm (47.2 in) in Y and 1,100 mm (43.3 in) in Z. It belongs to the group Yasda calls mother machines, and at this size the work is large: machine columns, big gear housings, structural parts that need boring on several faces.

Compared with the YBM 8T, the table grows from 800 mm to 1,000 mm square while Z travel stays at 1,100 mm. X and Y are 1,500 mm and 1,200 mm here, against 1,300 mm and 1,000 mm on the YBM 8T. The machine is therefore wider and taller in reach but no deeper, unless the stroke extension is taken: X to a total of 2,100 mm, Y to 1,400 mm and Z to 1,400 mm. This is the only precision center below the largest one with an X extension on the list.

The spindle list is shorter than on the two smaller models. The base spindle runs 50-10,000 min-1 on MAS BT50; the high-torque option runs 60-6,000 min-1 and the high-speed option 60-15,000 min-1, both on BT50. There is no BT40 spindle here, which makes sense for a machine whose parts are heavy iron and steel.

Two pallets and 60 tools are standard. The APC option is 5PLS, one pallet fewer than on the smaller machines, and tool storage can be 90 tools or 120-450 tools. Height is 4,125 mm (162.4 in) with the 1,200 mm Y stroke, so this machine needs a high bay. The control is a FANUC 31i-B5 Plus.

Strengths & Limitations

Strengths

  • 1,000 x 1,000 mm (39.4 x 39.4 in) table with 1,500 x 1,200 x 1,100 mm of travel
  • Stroke extension on all three axes: X 2,100 mm, Y 1,400 mm, Z 1,400 mm total length
  • High-torque (60-6,000 min-1) and high-speed (60-15,000 min-1) spindle options on MAS BT50
  • 2 pallets standard, 5PLS optional
  • Up to 120-450 tools of storage

Limitations

  • Machine height of 4,125 mm (162.4 in) with the 1,200 mm Y stroke
  • No MAS BT40 high-speed spindle, unlike the YBM 8T
  • The pallet system option is 5PLS, against 6PLS on the YBM 8T
  • No table load is published on the product page

Frequently Asked Questions

01 How big is the Yasda YBM 10T?

It has a 1,000 mm square table and travels of 1,500 mm (59.1 in) in X, 1,200 mm (47.2 in) in Y and 1,100 mm (43.3 in) in Z. Machine height is 4,125 mm (162.4 in) with the 1,200 mm Y stroke.

02 Can the travels of the YBM 10T be extended?

Yes. Stroke extension is optional equipment, to a total length of 2,100 mm in X, 1,400 mm in Y and 1,400 mm in Z. The machine height figure applies to the base Y stroke, so the extended machine will be taller.

03 What spindles are available on the YBM 10T?

The base spindle is 50-10,000 min-1 with MAS BT50. Options are a high-torque spindle of 60-6,000 min-1 and a high-speed spindle of 60-15,000 min-1, both with MAS BT50.

04 How does the YBM 10T relate to the YBM 10T-100TT?

The two share travels of 1,500 mm, 1,200 mm and 1,100 mm and a 1,000 x 1,000 mm table working size. The YBM 10T-100TT is the table trunnion type 5-axis machine and is taller, at 4,885 mm.
