Price estimate
We do not have a price for the WardJet R-3014 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
Thirty feet of cutting length is what the WARDJet R-3014 adds to a shop: a one-carriage cutting area of 30' x 13.1' (9.14 m x 4 m), or 30' x 14.1' (9.14 m x 4.31 m) with two carriages. It is the middle member of the R-Series, between the 20' R-2014 and the 40' R-4014.
A table this long is usually worked in zones. Three 10' sheets fit end to end, and with as many as 6 Z-carriages on the gantry a group of heads can cut one zone while a crane changes material in another. The alternative use is a single long part, and for that the accuracy rows need reading with care: ± 0.010" per axis (± 0.25 mm per axis) positional accuracy and ± 0.005" per axis (± 0.13 mm per axis) repeatability. Those are adequate for structural plate and less so for parts that must mate over their full length.
The Y-axis beam is ball screw driven. The X-axis, the 30' one, uses a helical rack and split pinion. Feed and traverse run from 0.01 in/min to 500 in/min based on 230 volts.
WARDJet's page lists the footprint as 41.8' x 20.8'; the metric cell for that row is filled with a speed value by mistake, so only the imperial figure is given here. Abrasive is supplied from an 1100 lb pressurized hopper. Ikuhlu, WARDCAM and IGEMS are the software options, and the gantry takes 230V, 30 amps, 3 Phase with 80 psi, 2 cfm (5.52 bar, 0.06 cmm) of air.

Frequently Asked Questions
01
30' x 13.1' (9.14 m x 4 m) with one carriage. With two carriages it is listed as 30' x 14.1' (9.14 m x 4.31 m). The footprint is 41.8' x 20.8'.
02
The table lists linear positional accuracy of ± 0.010" per axis (± 0.25 mm per axis) and repeatability of ± 0.005" per axis (± 0.13 mm per axis). Part tolerance also depends on the cutting head, material and thickness, none of which the table covers.
03
Neither. Both list a speed range of 0.01 in/min - 500 in/min based on 230 volts. The R-2014 has a 20' x 13.1' (6.1 m x 4 m) cutting area, so the R-3014 simply has further to travel end to end.
04
The drive row reads: Y-axis beam is ball screw driven, X-axis are helical rack and split pinion driven. A split pinion is preloaded against the rack to take up backlash, which matters on an axis too long for a screw.
