Price estimate
We do not have a price for the WardJet H-1530 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
With a 5' x 10' (1.52 m x 3.05 m) cutting area, the WARDJet H-1530 is the middle size of the water-only H-Series and the one matched to full sheets and rolls of gasket material, foam and rubber. Z-axis travel is 10" (0.25 m) and the footprint is 7.5' x 15' (2.29 m x 4.57 m), which WARDJet rounds to less than 115 ft2.
Sheet goods are where pass-through loading earns its keep. The cutting surface sits level with the tank lip and the rails are elevated, so material can be fed across the table from any side and stock longer than 10' can be indexed through. WARDJet names automated spreader bars, manual spreader bars and multiple independent heads among the head arrangements. The table caps the count at 2 Z-carriages.
Below the cutting surface is the sloped tank that defines the series. WARDJet's claim for it is continuous water-only cutting, with the slope and the washdown system carrying waste to a single collection point instead of leaving it for the operator to clear.
Accuracy is listed as ± 0.003" per axis (± 0.08 mm per axis) and repeatability as ± 0.001" per axis (± 0.03 mm per axis), from ballscrews on every axis. The machine runs MOVE and WARDCAM. Its abrasive counterpart is the X-1530, which has the same table size plus 12" (0.30 m) of Z travel and a bulk abrasive hopper.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- 5' x 10' (1.52 m x 3.05 m) cutting area for full sheets of soft material
- Elevated rails and a cutting surface at tank-lip height allow loading from all sides and pass-through processing
- Sloped tank and washdown system built for continuous water-only cutting
- ± 0.003" per axis (± 0.08 mm per axis) accuracy from a ballscrew drive
Limitations
- No abrasive capability; the X-1530 is the abrasive machine at this table size
- Maximum of 2 Z-carriages, half the 4 listed for the J-106
- 10" (0.25 m) of Z-axis travel
- The power requirement of 230V 30 amps, Three Phase is for the gantry only

Frequently Asked Questions
01
The one-carriage X-Y cutting area is 5' x 10' (1.52 m x 3.05 m). Because the cutting surface is raised to the height of the tank lip, WARDJet says materials larger than the cutting envelope can be processed by passing them through.
02
The H-1530 is water-only, with a sloped stainless tank and washdown, and has 10" (0.25 m) of Z travel. The X-1530 is the abrasive machine: it has a 60" x 120" (1.52 m x 3.05 m) cutting area, 12" (0.30 m) of Z travel and a SmartFeed 400/ Axxiom 1000lb Hopper (450kg).
03
Linear positional accuracy is ± 0.003" per axis (± 0.08 mm per axis) and repeatability is ± 0.001" per axis (± 0.03 mm per axis). The drive mechanism is ballscrew in all axes, which WARDJet says runs on THK ballscrews and rails.
04
The listed footprint is 7.5' x 15' (2.29 m x 4.57 m). Allow extra room around it for the pump and for whatever wastewater handling is fitted after the tank drain, since those are configured separately.
