We do not have a price for the ShopSabre ShopMaster Pro 10 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
A 5x10 plate, a servo gantry and a deep water table: that is the ShopSabre ShopMaster Pro 10 in brief. Its cut area is 64 x 121 in (1,626 x 3,073 mm), and it is the middle size of ShopSabre's production plasma series.
The 5x10 format is where the ShopMaster's construction is most relevant. A full plate at heavy thickness is usually set down by forklift or crane, not placed gently. The frame answers with 4x4 structural tube laid along the floor in a ladder-braced pattern and a reinforced pan, so the load goes straight down instead of across suspended legs. ShopSabre does not publish a plate weight limit, so buyers cutting thick plate should get one in writing.
Speed helps in a different part of the job. At 2,500 ipm (63.5 m/min) the torch crosses the table between pierces quickly, and on a nest of small parts spread over a 121 in sheet those moves add up over a shift. Closed-loop AC digital servo motors drive X and both sides of Y through planetary gears on ShopSabre's floating rack and pinion, with a ball screw on Z.
The margin around the sheet is slimmer than on the SideKick 10, which cuts 65 x 122 in, so plate has to be squared carefully. Other figures: 9 in (229 mm) of Z travel, 8 in (203 mm) of standard clearance, +/- 0.002 in (0.051 mm) repeatability, and cutting capacity up to 6 in (152 mm) depending on the cutter. The machine is 91 x 148 x 59 in (2,311 x 3,759 x 1,499 mm).

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- 64 x 121 in (1,626 x 3,073 mm) cut area for 5x10 plate
- Floor-supported, ladder-braced frame that suspends no weight between legs
- 2,500 ipm (63.5 m/min) rapid traverse shortens moves between pierces on long nests
- Integrated 24 in (610 mm) water table with air-bladder level control
- Digital torch height control with Ohmic Touch sensing and electronic collision detection
Limitations
- Only an inch or so of margin beyond a 5x10 plate in each direction
- No published plate load rating for the table
- The Well Equipped cutter is a Powermax45 SYNC, small for heavy 5x10 plate
- 148 in (3,759 mm) long and delivered in one piece

Frequently Asked Questions
01
64 x 121 in (1,626 x 3,073 mm), with 9 in (229 mm) of Z travel and 8 in (203 mm) of standard gantry clearance. The footprint is 91 x 148 x 59 in (2,311 x 3,759 x 1,499 mm).
02
ShopSabre lists up to 6 in (152 mm) and marks it as cutter dependent. The figure describes what the table and its 24 in (610 mm) water table are built to handle. What plasma or oxy-fuel equipment is fitted decides the real limit for each material.
03
Its welded steel tube frame rests on the floor along its length instead of on legs with the bed spanning between them. ShopSabre says this brings the weight to floor level and removes concerns about frame deflection when cutting thicker material.
04
Yes. The water table is standard on the ShopMaster, and ShopSabre offers down-draft tables, single or zoned, including an automated zone-controlled system. A water table bubbler for aluminum cutting is listed among the options as well.
