Overview
The Palmary OCD-65220 combines the Ø650 mm (25.6 in) swing of the OCD-65 heavy duty CNC cylindrical grinders with 2,200 mm (86.6 in) between centers. Maximum grinding diameter is Ø620 mm (24.4 in) and the load between centers 800 kg (1,764 lb).
Palmary names its target work plainly on the product page: oversized gear shafts, printing shafts, rolling shafts, motor shafts, rubber rolling shafts and rollers. The 65 series is for the fatter end of that list. A 5.5 kW (7.4 hp) servo motor turns the part at 0 to 210 rpm, and an 11 kW (14.8 hp) motor drives a Ø610 mm wheel.
