Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Onsrud 98C 5-Axis that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The Onsrud 98C 5-Axis is the smallest twin-table 5-axis machine in the C-Series. Each of its two tables is 60 in (1,524 mm) by 48 in (1,220 mm), and Onsrud lists it in two forms: a standard machine with a 16 in (406 mm) Z-stroke and a Z-Ram version dimensioned for 28 in (711 mm) and 40 in (1,016 mm) strokes.
The two forms are very different in height. The standard machine is 100 in (2,540 mm) high. The Z-Ram version is 146 in (3,709 mm) with the 28 in stroke and 166 in (4,217 mm) with the 40 in stroke. It is also slightly shorter, 129 in (3,277 mm) against 133 in (3,379 mm). Width is 213 in (5,411 mm) either way.
Twin tables on a 5-axis machine mean one part is trimmed while the next is fixtured on the other table. Each table has 1 of the 2 standard vacuum zones.
The tool changer holds 12, and Onsrud describes an additional 12-position ATC and continuous C as options. A second spindle is listed too. This page gives no spindle power: Onsrud's page states two different ratings for the C-Series 5-Axis, so the figure has to come from the quotation.

Onsrud's C-Series 5-Axis page is not consistent on this: its specification block and its descriptive text give different power and speed figures. No rating is listed here for that reason, so ask Onsrud to state it in writing.
