Overview

The Hwacheon VT-4500 is a very large ram-type vertical lathe: a Ø4,500 mm (Ø177.2 in) table, Ø5,000 mm (Ø196.9 in) maximum turning diameter, 2,500 mm (98.4 in) maximum turning height and a 40,000 kgf (88,184 lb) table load. Like the VT-3000 it is listed only in milling form, the VT-4500 (Milling), with a SIEMENS 840D sl control.

What separates it from the VT-3000 is the table drive.
