HNK HAP-V3 — price

Price estimate: uncertain

We have no price for the HNK HAP-V3 that we can cite and no estimate we can stand behind, so this page shows no number rather than a guess. A quote from HNK or an authorised dealer is the reliable figure.

What moves the final price

  • Spindle, control and probing options
  • Tool changer capacity and tooling package
  • Automation — pallet changers, bar feeders, robot cells
  • Freight, rigging, installation and training
  • Region, dealer and time of year

Overview

The HNK HAP-V3 is a compact profiler by HNK's standards: a 2,500 x 6,000 mm (98.4 x 236.2 in) table, 6,200 mm (244.1 in) of X and 2,800 mm (110.2 in) of Y. HNK describes it as a high-speed, high-precision 3-spindle profiling machine for aircraft parts.

Where the longer profilers serve stringers and frames, this one is sized for ribs, fittings and short spars cut from plate. Three spindles share the work. They tilt together on an A-axis from -23° to +23°, which is enough for the bevelled flanges and draft angles common on wing ribs. Z travel is 500 mm (19.7 in).

Spindle speed is 10,000 rpm, with 12,000 rpm in braces, and spindle power 50 kW (67.1 hp). The spindle taper is not listed. HNK's sentence calls the machine a table moving type, while the X row of the table is labelled gantry longitudinal, so the moving element should be confirmed. The control is Fanuc 31i-B.

Strengths & Limitations

Strengths

  • A-axis spindle tilt of -23° ~ +23°
  • Table of 2,500 x 6,000 mm (98.4 x 236.2 in)
  • 50 kW (67.1 hp) spindle power at 10,000 rpm, 12,000 rpm in braces

Limitations

  • Z travel of 500 mm (19.7 in)
  • Tilt stops at 23°, short of a full 5-axis head
  • Spindle taper is absent from the table, and the spindle-count cell is not printed cleanly

Frequently Asked Questions

01 How many spindles does the HAP-V3 have?

HNK's description calls it a 3-spindle profiling machine for machining aircraft parts. The number-of-spindle cell in the specification table is not printed cleanly, so the description is the source for the count.

02 What are the travels of the HAP-V3?

X is 6,200 mm (244.1 in), Y is 2,800 mm (110.2 in) and Z is 500 mm (19.7 in), over a 2,500 x 6,000 mm (98.4 x 236.2 in) table. The A-axis tilts the spindles from -23° to +23°.

03 How does the HAP-V3 compare with the 5S-GPM?

The 5S-GPM is far longer, with X travel of 24,000 ~ 36,000 mm (944.9 ~ 1,417.3 in), five spindles of 75 kW (100.6 hp) and no tilt axis in its table. The HAP-V3 is the short machine with an A-axis and 50 kW (67.1 hp).
