The GF Machining MIKRON MILL P 900 is the larger-envelope member of the MILL P precision milling series, designed for mold, die, and toolmaking shops that need the same sub-micron surface finish quality as the MILL P 500 but with substantially more working volume and table capacity.
The MILL P 900 provides X/Y/Z travels of 900 x 600 x 450 mm (35.4 x 23.6 x 17.7 in) on a T-slot table measuring 1,000 x 600 mm (39.4 x 23.6 in) with a substantial 1,000 kg (2,205 lb) load capacity. This work envelope handles medium-to-large injection mold cavity blocks, die inserts, and fixture plates.
The standard spindle configuration is a 20,000 RPM Step-Tec unit with HSK-A63 taper and 120 Nm of torque, making it a genuine dual-purpose machine. GF also offers a 36,000 RPM HSK-E50 spindle option for maximum surface finish quality.
