How much does the Flow LZR 3015 cost?
Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Flow LZR 3015 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The Flow LZR 3015 is a fiber laser cutting machine with a 120 x 60 in (3,048 x 1,524 mm) cutting area and a choice of 6 kW, 12 kW or 20 kW of laser power. It is the smaller of the two LZR sizes. The LZR 4020 offers the same three power levels over 158 x 79 in (4,013 x 2,007 mm).
Between cuts the head moves at 3,900 in/min (99.1 m/min) in X and Y. On thin sheet nested with many small parts, a large share of the cycle is repositioning rather than cutting, which is where a rapid rate of that size pays back. Z travel is 11.75 in (298 mm), and the table carries workpieces up to 4,400 lb (1,996 kg). That weight limit is the same one Flow gives for the LZR 4020, so on this smaller bed it is harder to reach with a single plate.
Plan the floor before the sheet size. The machine measures 342 x 119 x 83 in (8,687 x 3,023 x 2,108 mm), close to three times the 120 in cutting length. An automatic nozzle changer and Windows-based CNC software are listed. Flow's table gives no cutting thickness for any of the three power levels, so the choice between 6 kW, 12 kW and 20 kW should be settled against your own material and gauge with Flow before ordering.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- Fiber laser source offered at 6 kW, 12 kW or 20 kW on the same 120 x 60 in (3,048 x 1,524 mm) frame
- 3,900 in/min (99.1 m/min) rapid traverse in X and Y keeps repositioning time short on densely nested sheets
- An automatic nozzle changer is listed, so a nozzle swap between materials does not stop the machine for manual work at the head
- 342 in (8,687 mm) long against 398 in (10,109 mm) for the LZR 4020, at the same 119 in (3,023 mm) width
Limitations
- Cutting area ends at 120 x 60 in (3,048 x 1,524 mm); anything larger needs the LZR 4020 and its 158 x 79 in (4,013 x 2,007 mm) bed
- No cutting thickness is listed for the 6 kW, 12 kW or 20 kW source, so capacity in a given material cannot be read from the table
- Workpiece weight is capped at 4,400 lb (1,996 kg)

Frequently Asked Questions
01
Bed size and machine length. The LZR 3015 cuts 120 x 60 in (3,048 x 1,524 mm) and is 342 in (8,687 mm) long. The LZR 4020 cuts 158 x 79 in (4,013 x 2,007 mm) and is 398 in (10,109 mm) long. Laser power choices, the 11.75 in (298 mm) Z travel, the 3,900 in/min (99.1 m/min) rapid and the 4,400 lb (1,996 kg) workpiece limit are the same on both.
02
Flow lists a fiber laser at 6 kW, 12 kW or 20 kW. The table does not give a maximum cutting thickness for any of them, so match the power to your thickest regular material with Flow before ordering rather than from the headline number.
03
The machine dimensions are 342 x 119 x 83 in (8,687 x 3,023 x 2,108 mm). That is the machine itself. The table lists no figure for the clearance needed around it for loading and service, so ask for a layout drawing before committing floor space.
