Overview
For full 3,000 mm sheets, the Durma TPL93 is the TP turret punch press to look at. It is the large-format model of the range: 30 ton, with 3,000 mm (118.1 in) + R of X travel and 1,500 mm (59.1 in) of Y travel with a single tool, on the same stress relieved O frame concept as the smaller machines.
Everything that handles the sheet is scaled up. Maximum sheet weight is 200 kg (441 lb), double the TP9 figure, and four clamps are listed instead of two or three. The frame grows accordingly. At 18,250 kg (40,234 lb) the TPL93 is by far the heaviest machine in the table, and it occupies 6,300 mm (248.0 in) by 6,650 mm (261.8 in) before light barriers.
Moving that much sheet costs speed. The X axis runs at 70 m/min and the Y axis at 60 m/min, 120 m/min together. On close-pitch work the head still reaches 1,200/min at 1 mm pitch, the same as the TP123, but at 25 mm pitch the rate falls to 325/min, the lowest of the three. Marking is 2,800/min.
The turret carries fixed stations in four sizes (A: 11, B: 11, C: 2, D: 1) with 3 D-index stations, and turns at 22 rpm. Main cylinder stroke is 40 mm (1.6 in) and punching stroke 25 mm (1.0 in). A 15 kW (20.1 hp) motor drives the hydraulics from a 180 L tank. Durma lists a brush table as the table type, which suits surfaces that must not be scratched.
