Overview
The DN Solutions DVF 8000 is a large trunnion-style 5-axis vertical machining centre built around an 800 mm (31 in) rotary table rated for a 1,400 kg (3,086 lb) workpiece. That load rating is the machine's defining number: it brings steel fixtures, tombstones and substantial castings genuinely within reach, where many 5-axis machines of comparable envelope run out of table capacity long before they run out of travel.
Travels are 1,000 mm on X, 900 mm on Y and 685 mm on Z (39 × 35 × 27 in), rapiding at 45 m/min (1,772 ipm) on all three. The B axis turns at 25 r/min and C at 60 r/min.
