The DN Solutions DCM 4280 U is the widest 5-axis double-column machine in DN Solutions' entire portfolio. With 8,250 mm of X-travel, 5,000 mm of Y-travel, 1,000 mm of Z-travel, and 1,400 mm of W-axis crossrail movement, it provides an 8,100 x 3,500 mm table surface that supports 45,000 kg. If you need to machine the widest possible workpieces on an 8-meter-class 5-axis platform, this is the machine.

The 5,000 mm Y-travel and 3,500 mm table width are the defining specs. That's 800 mm more Y-travel and 300 mm more table width than even the DCM 3780 U. At this point you're accommodating workpieces that virtually no other 5-axis machine can handle in a single clamping — think complete automotive die assemblies, wide marine propulsion components, and the largest power generation parts.

The spindle and head system run the DCM standard: 15,000 RPM, 46 kW, 146 Nm through HSK-A100.
