Overview
The DMG Mori NHX 6300 is a 630mm-class horizontal machining center built for heavy-duty production of large prismatic components. With 900 x 800 x 980 mm (35.4 x 31.5 x 38.6 in) of X/Y/Z travel on a 630 x 630 mm (24.8 x 24.8 in) pallet, the NHX 6300 handles large cast iron housings, pump bodies, and structural components that overwhelm 500mm platforms.
The speedMASTER spindle runs at 8,000 RPM through a No. 50 (CAT 50) taper, delivering 37 kW (50 hp) and 560 Nm (413 ft-lb) of torque. A 10,000 RPM option is available.
