Overview
The Accuway GX-100TM swaps the gang slide of the GX-100 for a turret. It is a twin-spindle loader lathe with a 12-station BMT-45 turret, servo mechanical drive and rotary tools at 6,000 rpm.
A turret holds more tools than a gang plate of this size, and a driven turret can drill and mill. Both matter on small two-sided parts, where each side may need a turning tool, a boring bar, a drill and a cross hole. The rotary tool power is 3.7/5.5 kW (5.0/7.4 hp). Round shanks go up to 32 mm (1.3 in), where the GX-100 takes 25 mm (1.0 in).
The axis rows are unusual. X travel is 160 mm (6.3 in), with 145+15 mm (5.7+0.6 in) in brackets, which reads as a main stroke plus a short stroke past the spindle centreline. Z travel is 310 mm (12.2 in), bracketed as ±155 mm (±6.1 in). Turning diameter is 70 mm (2.8 in) at SP1 and SP2, larger than on the gang machine, and the turning length is 55 mm (2.2 in).
Both spindles are A2-5 with 5 in chucks, 6,000 rpm and 5.5/7.5 kW (7.4/10.1 hp). The integrated loader has a longer reach than on the GX-100, 580 mm (22.8 in) in its traverse axis and 550 mm (21.7 in) vertically, for the same material size of 10~50 mm (0.4~2.0 in).
