Weingärtner Maschinenbau GmbH of Kirchham, Austria, designs and builds customized turning and milling machines together with its own programming software. Its main line is the mpmc (multi product machining center), a modular inclined-bed turn-mill machine for long, heavy workpieces such as plasticizing screws, turbine and generator shafts and crankshafts; the company also builds the vario, pickup and finish machines for screw and rotor production.
