Overview
The Yawei PBA-110/4100 bends up to 4,100 mm (161.4 in) with 1,100 kN of pressure. It is the light long-bed model of the PBA series, driven by an 8.7 kW (11.7 hp) main motor.
Thin sheet over four metres is the hardest thing for a press brake to bend straight. The force is low, so the frame barely deflects, but any error in the bed shows as a change of angle along the part. Yawei's PBA answers with CNC controlled mechanical crowning, set from the control for each job, on what it describes as a high-rigidity frame.
This is also the fastest long PBA. Slider speeds are 220 mm/s; 15 mm/s; 180 mm/s; the PBA-160/4100 lists 200 mm/s; 13 mm/s; 160 mm/s. With 8,500 kg (18,739 lb) of mass it is the lightest four-metre model in the series.
The frame keeps the standard dimensions. There is 3,600 mm (141.7 in) between columns, 410 mm (16.1 in) of throat, 215 mm (8.5 in) of stroke and 550 mm (21.7 in) of mould height.
