Overview

The Starrag Droop+Rein TFS NEO Series is a portal-design 5-axis machining center for flexible, dynamic, and precise machining of large components. Delivers unmatched rigidity in its power class combined with maximum configuration flexibility.

Features a ram with integrated C-axis providing +/-400 degrees of rotation, combined with a continuously controlled B-axis for full 5-axis simultaneous machining. Employs automatically exchangeable motor spindle cartridges for rapid switching between roughing and finishing. The integrated main spindle delivers 40 kW with up to 1,800 Nm.

The portal design with fork-type heads provides full top-access, effective for turbine casings, aerospace structures, molds and dies, and landing gear forgings.

Siemens SINUMERIK 840D sl or SINUMERIK ONE control. Starrag IPS / Industry 4.0. New machines: $2,500,000 to $8,000,000.
