Overview
The Onsrud F148CH W10 is the wide-table variant of the F148CH. It keeps the 142 in (3,607 mm) table Y and stretches table X to 120 in (3,048 mm), inside the same fully enclosed high-rail structure with a 52 in (1,321 mm) Z-stroke.
A ten-foot by nearly twelve-foot table under 52 in of Z is a very large enclosed volume. Plate for aerospace and transport parts, large moulds and stacked composite blocks all fit. The spindle is 33 hp (24.6 kW) at 24,000 rpm as standard, and a 75 hp (55.9 kW), 18,000 rpm spindle is the alternative when torque matters more than speed.
