Onsrud 333G — price

Price estimate: uncertain

We have no price for the Onsrud 333G that we can cite and no estimate we can stand behind, so this page shows no number rather than a guess. A quote from Onsrud or an authorised dealer is the reliable figure.

What moves the final price

  • Spindle, control and probing options
  • Tool changer capacity and tooling package
  • Automation — pallet changers, bar feeders, robot cells
  • Freight, rigging, installation and training
  • Region, dealer and time of year

Overview

The Onsrud 333G is a 3-axis moving-gantry router with a table 334 in (8,484 mm) long and 61 in (1,550 mm) wide. That is just under twenty-eight feet of bed on a machine that still takes only one five-foot sheet across.

Length of this kind is rarely bought for a single sheet. It is bought for staging. Three eight-foot sheets can sit on the table at once, and the 7 standard vacuum zones let sections be held or released separately. With a second gantry, an option on the series, one end can run a nest while the other end runs a different job. Without one, the gantry simply works its way down the bed while an operator follows behind it.

Plan the building around the frame. The 333G is 431 in (10,948 mm) long with the 11 in (279 mm) Z-stroke and 427 in (10,846 mm) with the 18 in (457 mm) stroke. Height is 103 in (2,617 mm) or 140 in (3,556 mm). Width is 136 in (3,455 mm), as on the other five-foot-wide tables with these strokes.

The head is the series standard: 18 hp (13.4 kW), 24,000 rpm, 12 tools. Onsrud builds the gantry on one-piece vertical steel columns and drives it with a helical rack on both sides, which is what lets a bridge travel this far and stay square.

Strengths & Limitations

Strengths

  • 334 in (8,484 mm) by 61 in (1,550 mm) table for staging several sheets
  • 7 vacuum zones as standard
  • Dual-drive helical rack gantry on one-piece steel columns
  • Dual gantry listed as an upgrade

Limitations

  • Machine length of 431 in (10,948 mm), or 427 in (10,846 mm) with the 18 in stroke
  • Table Y stays at 61 in (1,550 mm); wide sheet needs a GW model
  • One 18 hp (13.4 kW) spindle is standard on a very long bed

Best For

Continuous sheet processing with several sheets staged Long composite and plastic panels Two-gantry cells on one bed

Frequently Asked Questions

01 What is the working table of the Onsrud 333G?

334 in (8,484 mm) in X by 61 in (1,550 mm) in Y, with 7 vacuum zones as standard. The model code says 333; the maker's table gives 334 in, and its millimetre figure matches that.

02 Does the 333G need a second gantry to be productive?

No, but the option fits the table. Onsrud describes a second gantry as a way to produce nested or similar parts in tandem, or to park one gantry and let the other machine a long part end to end.

03 How tall is the 333G?

103 in (2,617 mm) with the 11 in Z-stroke and 140 in (3,556 mm) with the 18 in Z-stroke. Length is 431 in (10,948 mm) and 427 in (10,846 mm) respectively, and width is 136 in (3,455 mm).

04 What is the difference between the 333G and the 312G?

Z-stroke and table length. The 312G is the 28 in stroke machine of about this frame length, with a 312 in (7,925 mm) table and a machine height of 155 in (3,937 mm). Both list 7 vacuum zones.
