Overview

The Mazak INTEGREX i-200H ST is the most fully equipped version of the i-200H: a horizontal milling head, a second spindle and a lower turret on the same machine. The horizontal head orientation matters in practice because chips fall away from the cut rather than collecting in the work zone, which is what makes long unattended runs viable in materials that produce stringy swarf.

Both spindles use 8" chucks at 5000 rpm. The main is 22 kW (30 HP) peak and 15 kW (20 HP) continuous; the second is 18.5 kW (25 HP) peak and the same 15 kW (20 HP) continuous. Maximum machining diameter is Φ600 mm (Φ24 in) with 850 mm (33 in) of machining length, and Φ400 mm (Φ16 in) when working with the lower turret.

The milling spindle runs to 12000 rpm through HSK-A63 at 12 kW (16 HP) peak and 11 kW (15 HP) continuous, with 57.3 N·m peak and 46.1 N·m continuous torque. That is deliberately less milling power than the vertical-head i-200 variants carry, a trade made for the compact horizontal head. Buyers should size milling operations accordingly: this configuration is chosen for chip control and turret access, not for maximum metal removal at the mill spindle. The B-axis covers -30° to +210° with a 0.0001° minimum increment.

The lower turret carries 12 tools on 20 mm shanks with Φ32 mm boring bars, on its own 210 mm X2 and 900 mm Z2 travels rapiding at 40000 mm/min (1575 IPM). Having a second, independently driven tool carrier is what changes the cycle economics — the turret can be cutting on one end of the part while the milling head works the other, or roughing can be balanced between them. The upper axes are 535 mm (21 in) in X, 210 mm (8 in) in Y and 900 mm (35 in) in Z, with X rapiding at 48000 mm/min (1890 IPM).
