The proportions are unusual. Z travel is longer than both X and Y, which leaves room for a vise on a riser, a tall fixture, or long drills and extended tools over a deep part. The trade is a modest footprint in X and Y, so plate work and multi-vise layouts are better suited to the V.Plus-800, with 800 mm (31.5 in) of X and a 1,000 x 500 mm (39.4 x 19.7 in) table.
Matsuura offers the spindle three ways in its table. The standard unit is 15,000 rpm BT40.
