Price estimate
We do not have a price for the HSG HS1206 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The HSG HS1206 is a small all-electric press brake: 12 Ton of bending force over a 600 mm (23.6 in) working table, driven by a 5.5 kW (7.4 hp) main motor through a heavy-duty lead screw. It has 3 CNC axes and no hydraulic system at all.
A machine of this size is for small parts, and the figures say which ones. The table length caps the bend line at 600 mm. Throat depth is 220 mm (8.7 in), slider stroke 170 mm (6.7 in) and maximum opening height 420 mm (16.5 in), which leaves room for deep boxes and tall tooling on short brackets, enclosures and electrical components. Working speed is 20 mm/s (0.8 in/s), and straight-line working accuracy is given as ±0.1 mm/m.
Dropping the hydraulics is the argument HSG makes for the electric drive. There is no oil to leak onto parts or the floor, none to buy or change, and less to maintain. The ram force comes from the lead screw, which HSG says gives stable output force and consistent bending pressure.
Tooling is set up for frequent changeovers, with a segmented upper tool and a quick clamping device as standard. The HSG Control System accepts 2D drawing programming and imports 3D models with automatic bend sorting. Side doors, rear guardrails and a fully enclosed safety structure are fitted, with emergency stops on the control and the foot switch.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- All-electric drive with no hydraulic system, so there is no oil to leak, buy or change
- Maximum opening height of 420 mm (16.5 in) and a 170 mm (6.7 in) slider stroke on a 600 mm table
- Segmented upper tool and quick clamping device are standard
- HSG Control System with 2D drawing programming and 3D import with automatic sorting
- Compact layout intended for workshops with limited floor space
Limitations
- Bend length is limited to the 600 mm (23.6 in) working table
- Bending force of 12 Ton restricts material thickness and bend length together
- Only 3 CNC axes are listed, and the brochure does not say which three they are
- Working speed is 20 mm/s (0.8 in/s); the brochure gives no approach or return speed

Frequently Asked Questions
01
It has a bending force of 12 Ton and a working table length of 600 mm (23.6 in). Throat depth is 220 mm (8.7 in), slider stroke 170 mm (6.7 in) and maximum opening height 420 mm (16.5 in). The main motor is rated 5.5 kW (7.4 hp).
02
Electric. HSG calls it a pure electric bending machine with no hydraulic system, which removes the risk of oil leaks and the cost of buying and replacing hydraulic oil. Force is transmitted through a high-precision heavy-duty lead screw.
03
The table lists 3 CNC axes. The machine uses the HSG Control System, which supports 2D drawing programming and 3D import with automatic sorting of the bend sequence. HSG does not say in the brochure which three axes are controlled.
04
HSG gives a working speed of 20 mm/s (0.8 in/s) and a straight-line working accuracy of ±0.1 mm/m. Those are the only speed and accuracy figures in the brochure; approach and return speeds are not listed.
