Its linear rapid traverse is 61 m/min; the otherwise identical MIKRON MILL X 400 U is listed at 100 m/min.
Read the envelope before anything else. Y is less than half of X, so the machine favours long, slim parts, rows of small parts along X, or single inserts. Weight is the harder limit: 25 kg covers a pallet, a vise or chuck and a small part, not a block of tool steel. Shops that need more depth in Y should look at the Mikron MILL E 500 U, with 450 mm of Y and a 300 / 200 kg load.
