Overview
The FANUC Robodrill D74CS combines the 700 mm X travel of the long Robodrill bed with the Series 31i-B5 Plus control. Y travel is 400 mm. Those three figures are fixed. The rest of the specification is a menu.
The menu has three parts. Z travel: 400 mm or 330 mm. Turret: servo driven with 14, 21 or 28 tools, or spindle driven with 14 or 21. Spindle: Basic or High-torque at 10000 min-1, High-acceleration or Tapping at 12000 min-1, High-speed at 24000 min-1. Two machines sold under this one name can therefore differ in height capacity, tool count and top speed, which is worth remembering when comparing quotations or inspecting a machine already built.
