Overview
The Citizen Miyano BNE-51SY is a dual-spindle, twin-turret CNC turning center with Y-axis and 51mm bar, the previous-generation platform preceding BNE-51SY6. Widely installed across automotive, medical, and hydraulic manufacturing.
Main spindle: 5,000 RPM, 15/11 kW. Sub-spindle: 5,000 RPM, 5.5/3.7 kW, 42mm bar. Y-axis +/-40mm. Twin turrets with 24 live tools at 6,000 RPM.
Simultaneous machining provides 30-50% cycle time reductions. Y-axis on HD1 adds off-center machining for flats, keyways, and cross-holes.
Used BNE-51SY machines available as cost-effective entry to twin-turret Y-axis turning. Citizen continues full support.
