Overview

The Brother Speedio R650Xd1 is the larger rotary-table Speedio, extending X-travel to 650 mm while retaining the integrated A-axis rotary for multi-face machining. It handles bigger parts than the R450Xd1 with the same multi-face capability.

X/Y/Z travels are 650 x 350 x 305 mm with A-axis at +/- 120 degrees. Spindle runs at 16,000 rpm with 7.5 kW on BT30. The 21-tool turret delivers 0.9s chip-to-chip changes.

Rapids reach 50 m/min on X/Y, 56 m/min on Z. The rotary table has higher clamping torque than the R450Xd1 for larger workpieces. Positioning accuracy +/- 0.004 mm, repeatability +/- 0.002 mm.

Weight is 4,200 kg with a 1,980 x 2,340 mm footprint, same width as the S700Xd2.
