Overview
Boring comes first on the AWEA BL-2018S. At 30,000 kg (66,138 lb) this is the lightest of the twelve BL machines. Its coolant tank is 400 liter. If the part outgrows the X stroke, the BL-3018S and BL-4018S carry the same quill head on longer beds, and the BL-2024S raises Y to 2,400 mm (94.5 in).
Chips fall away from a horizontal spindle, and AWEA fits two augers plus a caterpillar type chip conveyor as standard to carry them out. A splash guard enclosure is an option, not part of the base machine.
