Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Arclight Dynamics Arc Max Elite 5x5 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The Arclight Dynamics Arc Max Elite 5x5 puts the Arc Max structure into the smallest footprint the series offers: a 62 x 64 in cutting envelope with 6.5 in of Z. It is the heavy-frame Arc Max table with FlashCut CNC as standard. The square bed suits thick plate drops and short heavy parts more than sheet nesting.
Under the Elite name is the Arc Max structure: a welded, unitized frame of 3 x 3 in steel tubing with a 3/16 in wall and a low-mass aluminum gantry with 8.5 in of clearance. The gantry is driven on both sides and guided by Hiwin 20 mm precision linear rails. Arclight lists NEMA 34 stepper motors rated 940 oz for this version. The table is rated for 2 in mild steel with 0.001 in positioning accuracy. Its water pan is 8 1/2 in deep in 12g steel, with an expanded metal barrier for small parts and twin 1.25 in ball valve drains.
Its base is 70 x 68 in, overall dimensions are listed as 88 in L x 80 in W x 60 in H, and the table weighs 1,200 lb. The water pan holds 120 gallons. For a table rated for plate this is a compact package, and it is the only Arc Max size that does not need a bay long enough for a full sheet.
FlashCut CNC comes standard, and it is the reason to pick the Elite over the Ultra version. Drawing, toolpath and cutting happen in one integrated CAD/CAM/CNC program. True shape nesting handles several CAD or DXF files and more than one sheet at a time, and a fix tool cleans up faulty drawings on import. Arclight also lists pipe and tube cutting among the capabilities of this version. The plasma cutter is selected separately.
