Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Yawei PBH(A)-220/6100 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The Yawei PBH(A)-220/6100 is the lightest six-metre press brake in the PBH(A) series. Its designation and its table do not quite agree on length: the specification gives a table length of 6,200 mm (244.1 in), the same as the models Yawei labels 6200.
Nominal force is 2,200 kN. Spread over a table this long, that is a sheet-metal rating, suited to long light sections such as curtain wall profiles, lift components and lighting or cable channels.
The gain over the PBH(A)-220/5100 is in width only. Column spacing rises from 4,200 mm (165.4 in) on the PBH(A)-220/5100 to 5,100 mm (200.8 in) here, so a five-metre part with deep flanges passes between the side frames. Throat, stroke and opening height stay at 410 mm (16.1 in), 215 mm (8.5 in) and 450 mm (17.7 in). Motor power is 15 kW (20.1 hp) and the tank holds 500 L, both unchanged, as are the slider speeds of 120 mm/s; 9 mm/s; 100 mm/s.
Length costs mass. The weight row reads 28,000 / 23,000 kg (61,728 / 50,705 lb) and the overall dimensions are 6,500 x 1,850 x 3,430 mm (255.9 x 72.8 x 135.0 in). Transport of a one-piece frame of that length should be settled before ordering.
A long, lightly loaded bed is where compensation earns its place. Yawei states that the worktable carries a crowning system and that throat deformation is compensated, with the ram synchronised by a fully closed-loop electro-hydraulic servo system.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- Table length of 6,200 mm (244.1 in) at only 2,200 kN
- 5,100 mm (200.8 in) between the columns
- Slider speeds of 120 mm/s; 9 mm/s; 100 mm/s, unchanged from the PBH(A)-220/5100
- 15 kW (20.1 hp) motor, modest for a six-metre machine
- Crowning and throat deformation compensation described for the series
Limitations
- Low force for the length: thick plate needs a larger model
- The model designation and the printed table length differ
- 450 mm (17.7 in) opening height and 215 mm (8.5 in) stroke
- Frame over six metres long to transport and site

Frequently Asked Questions
01
The specification table lists a table length of 6,200 mm (244.1 in) and a column spacing of 5,100 mm (200.8 in), although the model name suggests a slightly shorter bed. The length should be confirmed in the order.
02
Nominal force is 2,200 kN, driven by a 15 kW (20.1 hp) main motor from a 500 L oil tank. It is the lowest force Yawei pairs with a table of this length.
03
The PBH(A)-300/6200, with 3,000 kN, a slider stroke of 265 mm (10.4 in) and a 22 kW (29.5 hp) motor on a table of equal length.
04
Overall dimensions are 6,500 x 1,850 x 3,430 mm (255.9 x 72.8 x 135.0 in) in length, width and height. Yawei prints the total weight as 28,000 / 23,000 kg (61,728 / 50,705 lb) and does not explain the two values.
