Overview

The Starrag Droop+Rein T/TF Series is a family of portal-design gantry machining centers for heavy-duty 5-axis machining of very large workpieces. The T has a moveable cross rail; the TF has a fixed cross rail for maximum rigidity.

Delivers spindle power up to 150 kW with 12,000 Nm torque, among the most powerful gantry machining centers worldwide. Features continuous 5-axis with auto-changing fork-type milling heads, wear-free hydrostatic guideways, and a thermo-symmetric ram with integrated C-axis.

Multiple table configurations (single, double, round, rotating, pallet) and tool changers up to 500 tools. Excels in tool/mold making, aircraft manufacturing, and power generation. Optional palletizing and rotary table for mill-turn.

Siemens SINUMERIK 840D sl or SINUMERIK ONE. New machines: $4,000,000 to $12,000,000+.
