Overview
The Matsuura H.Plus-405 is a horizontal machining center with a cube-shaped envelope: 660 mm (26.0 in) of travel in X, Y and Z alike. It takes parts up to Ø 700 × H 850 mm (Ø 27.55 × H 33.46 in), a height that suits tall tombstones loaded with several parts.
The spindle comes in three forms. The standard one runs to 12,000 rpm BT40, a 15,000 rpm Power-Up version is optional, and a 20,000 rpm BT40 spindle covers small-tool and aluminium work. HSK-A63 can replace BT40. The table lists no power or torque, so compare the curves of the standard and Power-Up spindles before deciding which one a steel job needs.
