The DMG Mori DMC 270 u FD is one of the largest portal 5-axis mill-turn machines in the DMG Mori lineup, delivering a massive 2,700 x 2,700 x 1,600 mm (106.3 x 106.3 x 63 in) work envelope for workpieces up to 3,400 mm (133.9 in) diameter, 1,620 mm (63.8 in) height, and 9,000 kg (19,842 lb) in milling mode or 6,000 kg (13,228 lb) in FD mill-turn configuration.
