Overview

The Citizen Cincom L20-XII ATC is the automatic tool changer variant of the L20-XII, adding ATC capability to the 12-axis L20 platform. The ATC expands effective tool capacity beyond the standard 41 positions by enabling automatic swapping of tools during the machining cycle.

Main spindle at 10,000 RPM with 2.2/3.7/5.5 kW. Back spindle at 10,000 RPM with 1.5/2.2/3.7 kW. 41 base tool positions plus ATC magazine. 12-axis simultaneous with LFV standard on both spindles. Rapid traverse 32 m/min.

The L20-XII ATC is the ultimate L20 configuration for shops running complex parts that require more unique tools than standard L20 capacity. High-mix medical and aerospace production are primary applications.

Frequently Asked Questions

01 Cost?

New L20-XII ATC runs USD 280,000-420,000.

02 Total tool count?

41 standard positions plus ATC magazine for extended capacity.

03 L20-XII ATC vs L20-XII?

Same 12-axis LFV platform plus ATC for extended tool capacity.

04 Does ATC slow cycle time?

Each tool change adds seconds, but running without manual intervention often outweighs exchange time in high-mix environments.
