Overview

The Nakamura-Tome NTX-C is a compact multi-tasking turning center for complex precision parts in medical, dental, electronics, and watch industries. Despite its compact footprint, it delivers B-axis milling with dual turning spindles.

The main spindle handles bar to 38 mm at 8,000 RPM with 11 kW. The counter-spindle matches at 8,000 RPM with C-axis. The B-axis tool spindle swivels +/- 120 degrees at 10,000 RPM with 5.5 kW. The lower turret has 16 tool positions. Simultaneous cutting with turret and B-axis reduces cycle times.
