Overview

The Hermle C 32 U MT has 650 mm (25.6 in) of X and Y travel and 500 mm (19.7 in) of Z, and takes a workpiece of up to Ø 650 mm (25.6 in) and 420 mm (16.5 in) high. Hermle's table for it describes a 5-axis milling machine in detail and contains no turning-specific row: the fastest C-axis listed is 80 rpm. Buyers who need turning should ask Hermle what the MT equipment adds, because none of it can be read from these figures.

Most of the decisions on this machine concern the table.
