The Citizen Miyano GN-4200 is a gang-type CNC lathe with 42mm collet capacity (45mm with fine precision air chuck), extending the GN platform between the 32mm GN-3200 and 52mm GN-5200 for the 35-45mm range common in automotive, hydraulic, and fastener production.
The main spindle reaches 8,000 RPM with 5.5/3.7 kW power, a significant increase over the GN-3200. The horizontal linear turret provides gang-type speed: tool changes at rapid traverse.
Enlarged working envelope: X-axis 300mm (vs 180mm on GN-3200), Z-axis 250mm (vs 200mm), max machining length 80mm (vs 50mm). PMC axis control with flexible loader control enables automated loading.
