Positioning is split into two speeds. Tsugami gives 35 m/min for Z1, X2 and Z2 and 24 m/min for X1, Y1 and Y2, so the longer moves along the bar and on the back side are the quick ones. The presence of Y2 alongside Y1 points to off-centre capability at the back as well as the front.
Set against the B0123-VR, which carries 13 tools at 1,350 kg (2,976 lb) and spins to 12,000 rpm (rated 10,000 rpm), the S206A-II is a much larger machine built for many-operation work rather than high speed.
