Overview
The Star NEW SP-20 is a sliding-headstock Swiss-type lathe for 20 mm (0.787 in) bar, with a ø25.4mm (1in) capacity listed as an option. Main and sub spindles both run to 10,000 rpm, the headstock strokes 205mm (8in), and the machine weighs 2,250 kg.
Headstock stroke depends on how the machine is configured, and the table spells out four cases. The standard figure is 205mm (8in).
