The Citizen Miyano GN-4200 is a gang-type CNC lathe with a 42mm bar capacity, extending the ultra-fast cycle time advantages of Citizen's gang-type platform to a wider range of part sizes. While the GN-3200 covers parts up to 32mm, the GN-4200 opens the door to larger automotive, hydraulic, and industrial components that benefit from the gang-type's inherent speed advantage over turret-based lathes.

The gang-type tool mounting eliminates turret indexing time completely—tools are arranged linearly on a slide, and changing from one tool to the next happens at rapid traverse speed.
