Overview

The Star SR-32J and SR-32JN are two versions of one 32 mm (1.26 in) Swiss-type lathe, separated by a single row of the table: the SR-32J works through a guide bushing and the SR-32JN is the non-guide bushing version. Choosing between them is a question of part length. A guide bushing supports the bar right at the tool, which keeps long, slender parts straight under cutting load.
