The Makino V77 Graphite is the largest machine in Makino's dedicated graphite electrode VMC lineup, built for shops producing the oversized electrodes used in automotive, appliance, and large-format die/mold applications. When bumper mold electrodes, large forging die electrodes, and multi-cavity electrode arrays exceed the V56i's capacity, the V77 steps in.
Axis travel measures 750 x 600 x 400 mm (29.5 x 23.6 x 15.7 in) on X/Y/Z, giving the largest work envelope in Makino's graphite machine range. The 1,000 x 600 mm (39.4 x 23.6 in) worktable handles loads up to 600 kg (1,323 lb), accommodating large graphite blanks and heavy multi-electrode pallet setups.
